Job Description : EXPATRIATE MAINTENANCE MANAGER NIGERIA Role: Maintenance Manager (injection and blow moulding ) Location: Lagos Salary: offshore + Local Accommodation: Bachelor Job Summary Our client, a multinational company is urgently seeking to hire a qualified and cost-conscious professional to fill the open position of a Expatriate Maintenance Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: • Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department • Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work • Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair • Create policies and procedures as well as ensure the implementation of the policies • Ensure all services & upgrades are performed with the least disruption to operations as per Standard Operating Procedures • Carry out routine checks on the facility, equipment and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standard • Troubleshoot common issues with equipment and assist operators with getting back to a productive mode • To perform any other tasks that may be assigned to you by the Management Qualifications and Skills: • Diploma/ graduation/ post graduation in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering • Age requirement: 35 - 45yrs • Minimum 10 yrs. similar position in engineering field and at least 3 years experience in a supervisory role • Should be computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel • Knowledge of SAP and accounting package will be an advantage • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making • Communicate plans for upper level improvements to maintenance worker staff • Working knowledge of appropriate tools, common appliances and devices • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and other systems
