Job Description : PRODUCTION HEAD NIGERIA FOR AUTO Organization is a major player into Sales & Marketing of 2/3 Wheeler in African Countries. Looking for Production Head to lead its assembly facility in West African Country . Person essentially has to have experience of establishing and managing manufacturing plant of Automobile. Preferably, experience of 2/3 Wheeler assembly plant * Person should have hands on experience of assembly and testing of plants in two /three wheeler assembly - preferably automotive plants. * Shop floor Planning, production with line maintenance, up keep of machines, Co-ordination & Execution. * Should have experience of Project Management, Facility and utility Maintenance Management, Production planning & control * Manpower & Inventory Management, Automation and development, Product Design & Product Development, Quality Control Tools / Practices * Product knowledge to reduce scrap and increase productivity preferably in two /three wheeler production plant, preferably automotive based plants * Seasoned manager who has gained considerable working knowledge in a manufacturing, assembly or distribution facility. * Responsible for achieving production targets daily / monthly / weekly (Business goals). * Manage Material & manpower (Work-In-process) planning productivity improvement. In two/three wheeler. * Implementing productivity improvement projects like saving on man power, materials. * Hands on experience in foreign assignments. * Should have handled senior level assignments in facility maintenance and utility management in current organization with production and operations management * Experience in leading and managing a fast paced, short window automotive assembly and sequencing plant. (two / three wheeler) * Accountability - being obligated and willing to accept responsibility for one's actions, Creative, self-motivated, and works well in a cross-functional team environment * Excellent interpersonal communication skills and well organized, committed to achieving world-class performance standards * Team engagement & retention, ensure Harmonious & Productive work environment Only people having Automobile Plant experience need apply Required Candidate profile Candidate should be B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile. M.Tech or Management qualification shall be an added advantage (MBA) with good experience of Production Planning & Maintenance of auto assembly plant. - Post qualification experience of 15-20 years, preferably with 2W/ 3W manufacturer. - People with Africa experience shall be preferred. - Ability to manage complete plant operations. - Strong experience managing large assembly Units. - Leadership quality to effectively drive team towards organisational objectives. - Good technical understanding automobile units. - Go-getter, ability to think out of box and drive culture of innovation in the team.
