Transhipment Head

Job Description : Head – Transshipment – Mining industry – West Africa Develop and manage the transshipment business to ensure the timely and safe deliver of the initial 6 Mtpa moving up to 10 Mtpa of bauxite from the River Jetty facility by barges to the recipient ocean going vessel (OGV). Key Skills: Entrepreneurial Spirit, Leading and Managing Change, Analytical Thinking, Developing Subordinates, Planning & Organizing, Achievement Orientation, Continuous Learning, Integrity, Team Work Mandatory: The experience in operations, maintenance and management of Tugs, Barges and Floating Cranes for transportation of bulk material such as mineral ores, coal and bauxite is a significant advantage Industry: Mining (not looking from shipping industry) Language: English. French will be a significant advantage Experience: 15 to 20 years Qualification: Master Mariner/Marine Engineer Load Master/Captain Reporting to: CEO and Board Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days
