10 yearsJob Description : GROUP OPERATIONA MANAGER UAE Location: Ras Al Khaimah Slalary: to be discussed Start Date: As fast as possible Job Description · Responsible for delivery of operational services in line with service, quality, and cost targets · Ensure team is operating to group, Global and/or prescribed standardised policies, processes, procedures, and service standards. · Ensure all relevant staff are appropriately trained on the relevant processes, systems, procedures, and policies. · Through the management team, proactively manage all resources and processes to ensure efficiency and optimisation of resource capacity. · Support and liaise with other linked functions to facilitate the achievement of service excellence. · Proactively manage the team’s metrics and KPIs in order to meet strategic objectives and monitor and evaluate performance of the team in line with the Service Level Agreements · Capacity Planning · Review operations for cost-savings opportunities and work cross-functionally to incorporate these initiatives. · Participate in setting the company budget. · Ensures the work area is ready for service with pre- and post-service checks completed, ensuring all in its place. · Directs teams and takes responsibility for quality and sequence of service in his/her work area; Ensures orders, serving guests as per policy and standards in a friendly, timely and efficient manner. · Is visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle special requests for guests. · Trains and coaches team members to ensure that established Cultural, Core Standards and all standard operating procedures are met. · Works closely with the management to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments. · Plans the PPM (Planned, Preventative Maintenance), Reactive and corrective including the electrical installations such as, lighting control system, DB’s VFD, control and monitoring devices, equipment’s, emergency lighting and small power not limited. · Works with HR on overtime, shift work and/or out of hours working as governed by the necessity to maintain continuity of operation of essential sites and systems. · Involvement in special projects as needed and adhere to Risk Assessments and Standard Operating Procedures. · Ensure Conformity to all necessary internal and/or external approvals before, during and after project work including Permit to Work and Lockout / Tag Out procedures. · Support the development of business opportunities through the provision of excellent operational services. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree, excellent communication skills, and regional exposure would be great. 10+ years of management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced venues, counter service or retail. Exceptional communication, leadership, motivational and team-building skills is needed. Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, analytical and business management skills.
