Supply Chain Director

Job Description : DIRECTOR OF SUPPLY CHAIN AND LOGISTICS DUBAI Director of Supply Chain whose role is to lead the implementation of supply chain processes and procedures from suppliers and manufacturers through to customers. The responsibilities of this Director of Supply Chain & Logistics position - · To drive the effectiveness of the overall supply chain process. · Ensure that logistics, replenishment and distribution related activities are undertaken in accordance with best practices · Identify potential risks and propose action plans to ensure accurate merchandise inventory and operations in Distribution Centres · Ensure the proper goods flows management (via DC or direct) and the corresponding flow in DC (picking & packing). · Taking ownership of logistics cost, supplier lead time, supplier service level, logistics rebates & item specification in temperature for storage/transport. · Set the target of the logistics Service Level Agreement with stores and suppliers · Identify training needs with the team for upskilling and promotion and progression. To be successful in this Director of Supply Chain & Logistics position- · Extensive experience within Supply Chain & Logistics · Must be operating at a Senior Management level , Head of/Director or VP level · You must have experience within retail or FMCG · Strategically have show expertise in driving efficiency and keeping a commercial operations · Good communicator with suppliers/stores and internal stakeholder · Lead and develop a large team · Good understanding of trade compliance and up to date regulations The benefits of this Director of Supply Chain & Logistics position - · 50,000 - 70,000 AED per month Tax free salary! · Relocation & visa application assistance · Private healthcare & dental · Relocation Flights · schooling allowance
