Business Head

Job Description : BUSINESS HEAD GURGAON FOR PLASTIC DIVISION 18+ years experience Reporting Structure: - · Functional reporting is to CEO based out of Gurgaon · The role has been primarily created to drive India Operations, Business Finance & Business Development / Marketing for India Business. · Experience in developing long term strategy plan and execute business plan for business with respect to desired targets · Experience of expanding existing business segment through product and technology innovation. Primary Responsibilities: · Experience in designing and implementing the action plan for entire India business process · Experience in handling Complete Business Plan for India with good experience in Key parameters like Operations, Business Finance & Business Development / new business opportunity by setting up commercial framework for robust and long term growth THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: Strategy Planning · Establish and formation of strategy, roadmap and business plan for the business division with respect to targets in terms of financial, customer, manufacturing (operations), people, processes & systems etc. · Manage entire Business Development cycle (RFQ to SOP) to maximize gross revenue, achieve targeted profitability and deliver products (mass production) with high quality within agreed timelines · Ensure conversion of RFQ generated through Global KAMs (Key account managers) for new products and new customers · Create long term strategic plan & monitor implementation progress against set targets for (top line, cost reduction, VAVE activities, alternative sourcing, quality excellence) RFQ conversion & Customer penetration · Generate and manage RFQs conversion for existing and new products with existing or new customers to build revenue & profitability pipeline for future orders · Build effective customer relationships and enable product cross selling across BUs to increase business divsion share of business with existing customers and new customers Technology leadership · Drive technological leadership and innovation excellence through new product conceptualization and place Business division as the preferred supplier for OEMs Profitability · Drive business profitability by working in all areas of improving product design, manufacturing, quality, reducing conversion cost, increasing employee productivity and operational excellence etc · Continuously increase Customer Satisfaction Index Score (QCDDM Parameters) · Increase internal operational efficiency in area of production, Quality, HR, etc · Strategic Sourcing initiatives and cost control Project Management · Ensure smooth New Projects conversion from Development to SOP wrt to Timelines, Profitability, etc. Compliances · Drive board compliance to ensure board directives and strategies are compliant with corporate governance · Ensure strict adherence of Group system, policies and processes · Establish internal controls Behavioral Competencies: · Entrepreneurship Comfort with ambiguity, opportunity Sensing and driving innovation. · Strategic Thinking Envisioning future, creativity and systems thinking. · Business Acumen Customer focused, value optimization, managing risk. · Enabling Change · Passion and Execution Emotional connect, ownership & accountability and drive for results. · Leadership and Building Team Functional Competencies: Highly business oriented, analytical, self believer, focusing on core issues with a broad management perspective, Client Relationships, Coaching, Managing Processes, Self-Motivated, Subordinate Involvement, Customer Focus, Statistical Analysis, Cross-component integration knowledge, Effective client management, Good presentation, communication and correspondence skills, Effective teamwork and mentorship, negotiation skills, six sigma expert, Root cause analysis, Market knowledge and research, Business process improvement, Agility QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS · Engineer with 18 to 25 years of experience in Automotive or Plastic with hands on experience in managing the P&L including Business finance & Business Development would be suitable for this assignment · Proven team leadership and interpersonal abilities · Sharp, high energy, results-driven, solution-oriented, focused and motivated, with solid decision-making capability · Excellent analytical skills & a Quick learner · Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to listen, understand and influence · Effective and decisive under pressure · Possesses the confidence and presence to interact at senior management levels · Comfortable with fast-paced, results-oriented environment · Demonstrated ability to influence others, both directly and indirectly, and to operate effectively in a matrixed environment · Clear thinking / problem solving: successfully led cross-functional projects/process improvement within operations/finance function involving process improvement - able to grasp new ideas quickly & ensure that the same is implemented with the necessary improvements.
