Job Description : RSM NIGERIA FOR BEVERAGES Regional Operations Manager (Beverages) - The ideal candidate must have experience in the Beverages sector. - Must have been in sales for at least 10 years. - The ROM will be responsible for leading the commercial operation of a designated region. S/He is also responsible for developing TLCC's direct and indirect sales channels by coming up with appropriate plans and measurement tools which will grow the company's volume, raise its profitability and increase the market share of its brands. - The incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring proper systems and processes are in place to make improvements sustainable. The followings are the key responsibilities : 1. SALES : a. Provide weekly/monthly/annual sales forecasts for the designated region b. Meet approved weekly/monthly/annual sales targets for the designated region c. Execute the sales plan as built with the Commercial Director d. Identify strategies and execute opportunities that grow profitable volume & increase market share 2. DISTRIBUTION NETWORK : a. Achieve availability of TLCC products in wholesale and retail outlets that is at the same level as the main competitors, Coca-Cola and Pepsi. b. Work with our dealers and retailers to activate our products at the point of sale. c. Develop strong relationships and close collaboration with key dealers in the territory. d. Monitor dealers- turnover and stocks on a weekly basis and ensure that our SKUs are available and that the dealers reach their monthly targets. e. Oversee execution of action plans in case the dealer falls behind on his/her monthly target. f. Support identification and recruitment of new dealers. 3. SALES TEAM MANAGEMENT & SUPPORT : a. Track the disciplined execution of the RSMs/ASMs work plan and of the SRs- daily/weekly call plan (actual calls vs calls scheduled; productive calls vs actual calls made; outlets covered versus target). b. Monitor the status of the SRs- daily reconciliation of dealer stocks sold through redistribution. c. Supervise, coach and train the team to improve selling and merchandising of our products. 4. SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT : a. Stay close to the Logistics/Warehouse team to ensure that goods are delivered within 24 hours b. Ensure proper management and control of company assets (like sales vehicles assigned to dealers, chillers, POS materials, etc). 5. MARKETING :
