Job Description : PROJECT MANAGER NIGERIA 10-15 years experience · Assessing the requirements of the project and recommending suitable IT components · Analyzing different options and recommending the most suitable for the project economically feasible · Work on improving the IT infrastructure of the company · Recommending upgrades and new systems that will be more useful for the project · Prepare cost estimates of IT infrastructure · Always keep a check on the budget and ensure that budget limits are not breached · Formulating procedures and policies for optimum utilization of IT infrastructure resources in the company · Supervising IT staff, consultants, vendors and suppliers · Meeting with managers of different departments and assessing IT infrastructure needs · Meeting with IT analysts and finalizing essential IT infrastructure · Planning and supervising installation of IT infrastructure in the company · Making sure that the infrastructure development project is completed within the given time frame Desired Candidate Profile To be successful in this role we would expect you to have: · Excellent knowledge about all aspects of information technology specifically with complex infrastructure environments · Expert hands on knowledge of building a critical path and understanding the right questions to ask · Command of the Schedule, Scope, Budget, Quality and Benefits at all times in the life cycle of the project · Actively manage a critical path which allows for a line of sight into risk/issues before they have project/program impact · Previous hands on infrastructure experience · Knowledge of the several of following helpful: MS Exchange, SysAid, SQL Server, LDAP, VMWARE, VSat etc · Excellent analytical and observation skills · Ability to keep up with latest developments in the field and upgrade IT infrastructure · Good communication and negotiation skills · Excellent planning and organization ability · Excellent time management skills and understanding the value of a baseline · Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities · Excellent management and leadership qualities · This is not a technical hands-on role. However, prior experience is required in order to develop a detailed working plan to ensure our success · Oil and Gas experience is preferred. Leaves and work hours: · General leave cycle/vacation is 6 month and 21 days. However certain departments do follow a different leave cycle. They are generally flexible when it comes to leave and based on the urgency/emergency. · Working hours are normally from 8.30 am to 6.30 pm (Monday to Friday), on Saturdays it is from 9 am to 6.30 pm and Sunday the working hours are from 9 am to 2.30 pm. Regarding Compensation: The maximum budget for the role can be around 2500 to 3500 USDs in hand per month depending on your years of experience (directly transferred to your NRI account in India), which is your complete savings. The offered salary will be a total discretion by the Board of the Company post your selection and will be based on the following factors: · Feedback of the interviewer and management based on your interaction · Your current savings per month which you earn after all the deductions and expenses · If you are currently employed / or not currently employed · The discussion will be done by their HR person post your selection Benefits : · Mobile Phone (hand-set) is provided with monthly recharge (amount is based on the grade). · Local allowance of Naira 20,000 per month in cash for personal expense of the employee, if any. · Food: Company provides the best quality Indian food and makes sure that all employees are provided healthy options. Special Indian cuisines are prepared during festivals. · Accommodation: The company provides accommodation to its employees and it is in close vicinity to the office. Rooms are with Air-condition, soft furniture and attached WC/bath (hot and cold water). House-keeping services are provided on a daily basis with free laundry, including ironing of clothes. Hot and cold water dispenser in the Hall with common TV, Fridge etc., Company provides twin sharing accommodation for Juniors upto Manager level and single room for Senior Managers and above. · Transportation: Transportation service (Pool car) is available during office hours for commuting from Residence to Office/Canteen and vice-versa. Departmental Cars for Staff and Individual Chauffer driven car for Head of Department and Senior Staff members are provided. · The company provides for Medi-Claim Policy (Cashless Floating) for every employee and his family i.e. wife and 2 children below 23 years of Age for use in India. If Single, then parents are insured. Policy amount ranges from 3,00,000.- to 5,00,000. (based on Grade). · They also provide for Accident Policy (in case of death/disablement) for the employee working with our group. It is a Globally recognized policy, whilst the employee is in service with the company. The amount range from twenty lac to one crore (based on grade/position).
