Job Description : HEAD TECHNO COMMERCIAL RTE BANGLADESH Job description To setup a new project (EOU) of RTE products for Exports based at near Dhaka, Bangladesh (Retort Kitchen). To scale up products developed by the R&D lab. Conduct commercial trials and along with operations and to ensure optimum manufacturing conditions. Erection and commissioning for the retort ready to eat products factory. Machinery knowledge and operations layout knowledge will be essential for this purpose. Factory design according to export regulations and all other international regulatory regulations. Support the business in regulatory affairs and analytical requirements. Routinely analyse consumer data, meet with consumer/customer to develop product insights. Plan and execute lab, commercial trials and be an integral part of transition to production as also a constant audit of production norms to ensure recipe integrity is maintained across batches, whether thermal of frozen or other technology used in the company. Develop new products alongside Culinary team and provide strong documentation of ongoing and final processes. Provide and solicit ideas for improvement of product and processes Liason with supply chain and operations team to understand their needs and resolve common concerns of business interest Keep updated with food Regulatory Changes of the countries we operate in Analyse product costs and identify opportunities for improvement . Develop alternate ingredients to provide ingredient innovation. Required Candidate profile Candidate should be a post-graduate in Food Science or Technology/ PhD in Food Tech / Food Engg from a reputed institute. Preference for MSc. / Mtech. from CFTRI, UICT, HBTI, Marthawada Univ Parbhani, GB Pant University etc. A strong academic background is desirable He/she should have hands-on experience in scale-up of processes, conducting commercial trials and optimizing processes.. Well versed with product development process in food industry with strong understanding of translation of marketing brief to product development that is market- oriented. Ability to work/lead in a multidisciplinary environment is critical. Experience on Retort processing of RTE meals and other food products like noodles, pasta and curries in retort pouch. Good communication skills; team player, open to feedback; strong culinary theory and grasp of current trends in the field. Candidate should be well networked and knowledgeable about International Food Laws. Desired experience : 8 12 years relevant experience in New Product Development, Ingredient research, scale-up, development of RM and FG specs, Stability study.
