Job Description : Global Procurement Head DUBAI Sobha Constructions is looking for a Global Procurement Head to design, buiki and lead strategic construction procurement functions to drive effective and efficient planning, sourcing and contract management. KeyAccountabilities:- • Develop and executea long-term strategy to facilitate improvement for procurement servic. in various construction project, • Optimize valuefrom supplier relationships through procurement excellence, including reducing risk and managing complianceand governance processes. • Develop strategic and operational procurement activiti. to support various construction projects. • Responsible for contract finalizations which involve understanding and knowledge of commercials and competitive pricing for packages related to large commercial structures / building projects. • Lead and manage bidding and tendering activiii. for goods and services related to projects. • Influencing a wide range of stakeholders and groups to enable best practice procurement within the projects. • Establish relationships with subcontractors and suppliersto ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve pricing and quality of work. • Ensure the execution of procurement strategi. across the firm to ensure consistent and high-qualityvalue delivery. • Build market intelligence capabiliti. within the category management team on key markets, suppliers and solutions to support strategy development purposes. • Report key functional met. to reduce expens. and improve effectiven., • Design and execute the procurement strategy with tactical and innovative programs. • Establish consistent and standardized approach. for all procurement activiti.. • Ensure compliance to all building codes and local construction guidelines. • Lead, manage and develop team to deliver on the established objectiv. of the division. • Oversee the devebpment and executim of sourcing strategies across all categori. within span of control including target, timelin. and resource plans. Experience &Skills • Postgraduate - Engineering preferably with an MBA. • 20 years experience, with 5 years at an equivalent management level, in global contracting and procurement in an engineering/construction environment. • Talent in negotiations and networking. • Good knowledge of supplier orthird party management software. • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numlmrs. • Exceptional problem-sdving/analytkal skills • Strong leadership capabilities
