Job Description : WHOLESALE DIRECTOR UAE This post is for a full time post, working hours are 9:00am to 6:00pm (6 Days a week Saturday to Thursday) (Hospitality Division) B2B sales - Senior Position - Team Leader, managing a team of 6 REQUIRED WITH EXPERIENCE IN HOTEL SUPPLIES OBJECTIVE The Director of Wholesale is responsible for managing and growing the wholesale sales channel, along with the distributorship of Carter & White accross Hotels, Commercial Airlines and Furnished luxury apartments. This includes managing a team of 5, planning, budgeting and execution across all markets and industry sectors. The ideal candidate is an experienced Sales Director with strong management skills, experience working and succeeding in a developing organization and a proven track record in sales and business developmen including managing a team and preparing P&L (preparation of P&L, managing P&L) RESPONSIBILITIES · Own the development, implementation and execution of the wholesale channel sales plan to deliver on short and long term sales goals for all brands · Act as member of the leadership team and a key contributor in strategic planning at the company level · Establish short and long term sales goals for all accounts and territories and manage wholesale business to these goals · Manage and lead independent sales force & distributors, including ongoing evaluation of rep force · Manage sales representative incentive programs to maximize sales results and service standards · Cultivate relationships with decision makers and leadership at key accounts, direct accounts and international partners · Work with marketing team to establish key account seasonal sales and marketing plans to drive sell through results · Work with operations team to create and improve upon seasonal forecasting tools · Develop and manage internal and external reporting for wholesale business to maximize rep force performance and provide data and insights to internal teams on wholesale performance · Work closely with product and merchandising teams to leverage feedback from buyers and hotel operators to identify growth opportunities for key items and categories · Partner with creative and marketing teams to develop creative strategies to connect the brand, · products and partnerships with target consumers in domestic and international wholesale markets · Travel to trade shows, regional shows and key line showings to insure clear brand message and identify sales opportunities by account Plan and execute successful twice-annual sales meetings · Own P+L for Wholesale department, including opex, forecasting, inventory management margin maintenance QUALIFICATIONS · Fifteen or more years in sales and sales leadership roles (Hotels, Hotel Supplies & Hospitality) · Understanding of retail, apparel, Bedding & Bath Linens (and category associated complexities) · Demonstrated success driving results through wholesale sales management · Team management experience · Financial acumen and experience managing P+L (Profit & Loss) · Excellent communication, relationship management and consensus building skills · Excellent time management and prioritization ability · Experience in a global organization preferred · Bachelor's degree (B. A.) required · Managing Deadline · Working Long hours to complete all tasks on time · knowledge in preparing presentation
