Project Accounting Manager

Job Description : Project Accounting Manager - Infrastructure UAE Project Accounting Manager to join a client-side organisation on a complex infrastructure program in the UAE. The candidate placed in this position will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on all aspects concerning project contracts that may have a financial impact on the programs to allow the finance team to make informed decisions with regards to project funding. Candidates applying for this position should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and ten plus years experience in overseeing the accounting functions on complexconstruction projects. - Report on the short terrn and long term cash flow requirements to allow Project managers to better control the capital expenditure - Monitor, track and report on expenditures , variations, claims, budget overruns and potential liabilities to determine the current status of the projects undertaken - Prepare cash flow reports and identify and evaluate variances to be communicated to Senior Management - Manage the preparation of timely and accurate month/year end financial reports (project cash flow reports, monthly financial report and a monthly project commitment list) to highlight the on-going status with respect to projects
