General Manager

Job Description : GM UAE FOR PAPER FOOD PACKAGING This role will be mainly responsible for the overall commercial and day-to-day business management in accordance with the business plan, instructions, and guidelines determined specifically or generally by the Board of Directors. This position will require the individual to have full P&L responsibility, including all CAPEX management. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: · Develops long term business plans and strategy · Achieves the target in terms of sales, profits, projects, and capital · Drives the business efficiently in both commercial and operational functions · Ensures activities meet and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal regulations, environmental policies, and corporate social responsibility · In line with the approved delegation of Authority Matrix, approves budget and controls · Fosters a work culture that is built within the company vision and values · Effective implementation of HR, HSE, Supply Chain and IT strategies · Maintains a deep knowledge of the food and beverage market trends · Works closely with key clients and customer decision-makers · Motivates and reshape the team thorough strong leadership and mentorship · Communicates well with both internal stakeholders and external clients KEY INGREDIENTS: · Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economy or related field · 15+ years of experience in the food and beverage packaging industry · Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively · Have an entrepreneurial mindset and be able to challenge the status quo · Strong emotional intelligence and understands the importance of self-development as well as developing others. · Strong leadership skills
