General Manager

Job Description : GM BURMA General Manager will be responsible for leading our new modern wholesale operating entity which is known as A Zay. This role will work closely with the team at Premium Distribution as well as our sister companies CMHL and Pahtama Group. The individual will develop and implement the business plan and operating model for A Zay and have full accountability of the success of the entity. Core Responsibilities Proven working operational experience within the modern B2B distribution. To have strong commercial acumen in regards to various channels of distribution of fresh, chilled, frozen and dry edibles. To have excellent “customer” knowledge and deep understanding of the needs and expectations of all different business types within the HoReCa segment. To be able to quickly grasp the way small retailers operate, identifying their destination assortment, the current buying practices, reordering cycle and their cash flow needs. Ability to drive operational excellence Ability to plan – organize – execute and control in detail all operational related SOP (from good receiving until invoicing and from reordering until replenishing). To have a very good understanding of related KPI’s interpretation & trend as well to act promptly by planning, delegating and commencing on ways to how to improve them. To be able to create & manage the annual budget. Previous full P&L responsibility of a smaller entity would be a great asset (Store Mgr of classic C&C store). Able to motivate and inspire his management team members as well as the lower rank personnel and able to ensure that employees are working as a cohesive unit. Overall to have the calibre and the character to build and nurture trust with teams, customers and suppliers.
