Group Accountant

Job Description : GROUP ACCOUNTANT UAE 10+ years experience A leading business is looking to grow their team and recruit a Group Accountant to join their business in Dubai. The role involves handling the month and year end closing activities, group consolidation, reporting and requires the potential hire to have strong IFRS knowledge. Key Responsibilities: · Preparing the month end reports, balance sheet and cash flow forecast · Review of the GL and balance sheet reconciliation · Support with the preparation of group consolidation under IFRS · Handle the audit process for the business · Be involved with writing, reviewing and updating accounting policies · Support IFRS implementation on any new updates · Assist and prepare the tax filing and returns for the business · Stakeholder management internally and externally (auditors and tax consultants) Key Requirements: · Must have a bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting and accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CMA) · Big 4 background with industry experience is a must · Must have group consolidation experience · Advanced Excel skills · Strong interpersonal and communication skills
