Supply Chain Head

Job Description : SUPPLY CHAIN HEAD DUBAI Objective – This role is responsible for all movement of gases as an input to Global Gases Group business, movement of finished goods to its customers and reverse movement of assets back to Global Gases. This is a key functional role for the business to ensure the supply chain process is efficient and effective. This position will also be the responsible asset manager for all gas distribution assets like ISO tanks, Cylinders, Quads and cryogenic vessels for the group. Location and Reporting Line Manager – The position will be based at GGG/HQ and reporting to General Manager – Operations/Technical. Requirements – Suitable candidate should have 12 – 15 years’ experience in logistics/supply chain in Industrial gases, Chemicals/speciality products or Petrochemicals that involves movement of hazardous goods across countries. The candidate should have robust know-how about export/import and international trade rules, guidelines. It is expected that the candidate will have good network with international shipping lines, carrying & forwarding agents within EU, MEnA, South East Asia. The candidate should be conversant with material management ERP systems and process. Key Roles – 1. Manage international shipping of ISO tanks and other Group assets – Fleet management 2. Develop collaborations with regional logistics partners and Analyse the logistics constraints and provide solutions. 3. Manage inventory of assets, transportation, and other logistics processes 4. Develop new strategies for continuous improvement and streamline processes and reduce cost. 5. Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met for the department 6. Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements 7. Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers 8. Manage and develop logistics staff 9. Create and manage budgets for the department
