Job Description : SCM ABU DHABI The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing Euro Mechanical’s overall supply chain, procurement and logistics operations and strategy in order to maximize process efficiency and productivity. Procurement Spend in excess of $50 Million. The role will include the leading of the Supply Chain team in the implementing of ERP; the directing or coordinating of purchasing, warehousing, distribution and financial forecasting and sustainability activities to limit cost and improve accuracy, efficiency, customer service and safety. The Supply Chain Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining and developing good relationships with our Business Units, vendors and distributors while maximizing efficiency. Responsibilities · Lead operational performance and development of the Company Procurement activities. · Develop process trackers to monitor critical success indicators, to evaluate organisational activities and be able to report on the health of Supply Chain processes accordingly. · Plan and implement overall development strategy for all elements of company supply chain to reflect Corporate strategy and the needs of our Business Units and their customers. · Develop plans and procedures for coordination of supply chain management with our Business Units and other functional support services including sales, marketing, finance and quality assurance. · Develop organisational goals and objectives reflecting Business Unit critical success factors. · Using Euro Mechanical Process Development Process, document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities and system flows. · Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors or freight forwarders where applicable. · Coordinate internal provision of transportation, distribution and logistics services or negotiate external contracts to assist execution of the same. · Coordinate with our Business units and Shared Services to reflect developing business strategies and design or implement supply chain development to reflect consequential changes to market coverage, market conditions, new business opportunities or targets and cross divisional cost reduction strategies. · Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements. · Manage inventories of products and/or organisational resources. · Foster a climate and culture where QHSE issues are addressed effectively and speedily, as part of everyone’s normal function. · Attract, retain and motivate people to improve the company’s performance · Report regularly on key aspects of the business, in accordance with routine and ad-hoc reporting requirements. · Promote Continuous Improvement. · Creates a method of change management including ownership of a documentation, communication plans, process training, etc. · Look after the social wellbeing of employees. Ensure Employee reviews are frequently undertaken, job descriptions are frequently reviewed and updated to reflect work activities and workload. Desired Experience and/or Qualifications · 10-15 years of relevant experience as a Supply Chain Manager. · Hands on experience with a relevant software. · A degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance or relevant field. · Experience working with quality management approaches, techniques, and principles to ensure quality.
