Head HSEF

Job Description : HEAD HSEF NIGERIA Roles and Responsibilities Reporting to the Manufacturing Heads (Petrochemical & Fertilizer)you will be responsible for: · Complex level responsibilities (IFL1, IFL2, FCU1, FC2, IPL & OIPL): · All HSEF function of all Petrochemicals (Olefins, PE, PP, Power Plant, Utilities), Fertilizers (Both line of Ammonia & Urea), Both FCUs are in the domain. Port Terminal HSE will also be part of your domain · Although not day to day, you will oversee PET / IVPNL etc. · You will have an opportunity to play central role in projects also You will be leading EIA efforts as well · You will be the main HSE Spokesperson for all HSE matters in projects and in that capacity will handle all ESIA matters with Lenders. · Interact with ifc and all lenders for all HSE matters · You will have process safety responsibility also, not just occupational Safety · Coordinating and supervising all activities of HSEF departments. · To comply with good environmental, safety & health practices · Deploying methods & technologies for risk assessment & control · Providing required resources to ensure proper and timely delivery of the requirements. · Organizing the department to ensure proper manpower capability. · Providing resources required for HSEF department. · Controlling and supervising of HSEF department activities. · Department budget control. · Monitoring of KPI of the department. · Revision and approval of HSEF documents. · Communication with concerned Government agencies on statutory requirements · Team strength: 1. Occupational Safety, fire, process safety, environment and health, administration, fire head will report to you 2. Our safety team strength, including fire is about 60. 3. Project HSE (All ongoing projects as well as future Line 3, PDH etc.) will also report to you Candidate Profile & Qualifications BE/B.Tech degree (Full time) with Diploma in Industrial Safety from approved institute (NEBOSH/ IOSH/ OSHA certification) will be an added advantage A professional with 18-22 years of work experience in a petrochemical, polymer, chemical manufacturing or oil and gas industry. Special knowledge of Olefins, Utilities and HSE&F. Robust knowledge in process simulation. Strong process background. Knowledge of Industrial Safety and Environmental Standards. Knowledge of engineering standards and regulations. Knowledge in project planning and scheduling. Deep knowledge of spreadsheet, database, word processor and project scheduling application (MS Office, MS Project)
