Country Manager

Job Description : COUNTRY MANAGER ANGOLA FOR OIL Clariant Oil and Mining Services provides solutions tailored to meet our clients' needs within Oil Services, Mining, and Refinery Services. We are a world leader in the development, manufacture, application, and supply of specialty chemicals and services to the oil and gas industry. We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to manage our local joint venture and drive further business growth. You will be an experienced professional with a track record of balancing responsibilities of operations and sales generation within the oil industry and above all else, you will be dedicated to creating value for both Clariant and our customers. Responsibilities · Take responsibility for the management of Clariant Oil Services Angola Lda including Sales, Marketing, and Operational Activities · Maintain and foster relationships with new and existing key accounts · Define and orchestrate technical service support offered to customers · Develop local tenders and contract in alignment with global procedures · Analyze sales statistics and market data to generate sales forecasts & collate internal reports · Take responsibility for full ESHA compliance, in line with both local laws and Clariant policies · Ensure safe working practices are followed and that ethical and sustainability requirements are all met both at Clariant and our local partners. · Oversee local supply chain manager in cooperation with central functions. · You will grow the capabilities of your team and ensure they receive relevant and targeted trainings Requirements · You will hold a degree in Chemistry or a related subject. · You will have a proven track record of sales and business management within oilfield services. · You have a deep understanding of oilfield chemicals and a sound knowledge of related products and market dynamics, particularly in West Africa. · Experience in managing legal entities and specific local legal requirements would be highly beneficial · Fluency in written and spoken English language is essential with Portuguese highly valued. · You a willing and able to travel frequently. · You have a proactive attitude; decision-making skills combined with a hands-on-mentality · Excellent communication skills and intercultural understanding are a must.
