Operations Manager

Job Description : Freight Operations Manager (Egypt), Responsibilities: • Develop overall local operational strategy and direction for the freight forwarding teams. • Oversee the development of new freight business, maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients in the local market, and drive the business for maximum utilization of existing facilities. • Ensure that financial management (billing and invoicing) and reporting for freight is carried out in accordance with company requirements. • Coordinate with senior members of governmental & other official bodies to ensure that current operation complies as per the regulations & rules of Kuwait. • Ensure that complete Health & Safety regulations are adhered to at the warehouse and by all operational & warehouse staff. • Lead and motivate the team, drive quality and performance. Requirements: • Management experience in the international Freight & Logistics business. • Experience in managing & motivating people and teams to deliver high levels of operational and commercial performance in a multicultural environment • Excellent communication skills in English, fluent Arabic would be a definite advantage.
