Senior Operations Manager

Job Description : SENIOR OPERATIONS DRI MANAGER NIGERIA Responsible for production and production cost and control technics. Implement quality goals in DRI processing. Handle project requirements and comprehend to the target dates designed for DRI implementation. Manage installation and commissioning. Responsible for enhancing the Klin life by adhering to the standards operating processes. Responsible for ensuring continuous supply of raw materials for operations. Coordinate with the maintenance department and arrange preventive and shutdown maintenance of rotary kiln, jaw crusher, coal impactor, vibrating screen, magnetic separator, lobe compressor, screw compressor and wet scrapers. Ensure compliance to the environmental standards and to keep pollution within stipulated norms. Responsible for housekeeping in and around the DRI plant area. Monitor and record process parameters and bring-in changes wherever necessary. Generate MIS, daily production data, downtime and shutdown data. Design and manage the shift and ensure deployment of resources. Drive safety consciousness across the plant area and bring-in safety standards and ensure safety of men and materials. Ensure compliance to quality targets. Ensure monitoring, measuring and reporting the production related process performance and general issues. Analyse problem solving and troubleshooting skills to ensure that all team members can identify root causes and take fast effective action to resolve the problems. Working closely with shift supervisors to ensure production handovers are effective. Ensuring that the training skills are met for current and future demand.
