Job Description : SALES DIRECTOR SEA AND OCEANIA OUT OF THAILAND A world-leading food and beverage processing & engineering company is looking for a Regional Sales Director (x 1 vacancy) to be based in Bangkok. In this business critical role, you will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy for the region whilst managing an experienced team throughout SEA and ANZ. About the Regional Sales Director Role: Reporting to the VP, you will lead all sales activities for the region and be responsible for both new and existing business. As the Regional Sales Director, you will be in charge of both driving, developing and expanding your team in addition to delivering hands on sales execution activity. Key Responsibilities: · Accountable for meeting budgeted sales and margins for the assigned territory/business area · Build and nurture strategic networks and relationships with vendors, suppliers and integrators to further develop the market · Oversee regional project execution and maintain customer contact · Coach, guide and mentor your sales team to maximise results for the assigned region · Initiate product development strategies (short and long term) through the Product Development Plan · Represent the business at events, conferences/seminars when applicable and network with the trade and sales organisations in the industry To succeed in this role you must have the ability to lead effectively and possess a keen understanding and relevant hands on experience within the same or highly similar fields of business. Key Requirements: · Substantial experience in capital equipment sales and territory/business area management, particularly in the packaging and/or food/bev processing machinery/technology sectors · Established customer base and/or recent relationships/working knowledge of targeted sectors including but not limited to food, beverage manufacturers, personal care, dairy etc · Market evaluation and analysis skills, planning skills, ability to develop and present a value proposition · Excellent communication and presentation skills · Proven cross regional sales management experience · Ability to travel when/if feasible across the assigned region
