Job Description : EXPATRIATE LOGISTICS MANAGER NIGERIA a multinational company is urgently seeking to hire an Expatriate Logistics Manager Responsibilities: • Manage the Logistics team • Organize the inward and outward transport arrangements for all goods • Manage Transporter/Contractor contracts, deals, terms and relations • Manage loading, unloading and checking of goods • Manage movement of goods and vehicles • Manage Transporters, Drivers, Loaders and other logistics staff on ground and in office • Liaise with other teams for an efficient co-ordination in logistics • Ensure liaising with Finance for timely payment and reconciliation • Ensure proper Insurance coverage for goods in movement and store • Negotiate with Vendors for better rates, service terms and delivery • Draft and review Vendor contracts Qualification and Requirements: • Any Graduate/Post Graduate • Knowledge of Import/ export documentation, local transport rules, shipment processes and procedures • Knowledge of customs, VAT, local and foreign trade policies & procedures • Nigeria work experience is mandatory
