Regional Procurement Manager

Job Description : REGIONAL PROCUREMENT MANAGER SINGAPORE To be responsible for the long-term development and performance of the purchasing function. To front procurement strategies and execution, maximizing the efficiency, reliability, timeliness, and cost management of the organisation's supply chain. To evaluate, research and identify vendors that meets the client's standards and requirements of quality, pricing, reliability and timing. To be involved in projects and new product introduction, purchasing for large and complex categories according to project timeline and best pricing practices. To assess vendor's products to ensure that they are adhering to compliance in specifications, quality and food guidelines (i.e., Halal approved). To lead and negotiate proposals, quotations, pricing and delivery criteria with terms that are in the client's best interest for procurement. To ensure accurate procurement planning and prevent imbalance in inventory and material stock holding level that leads to ageing/disposal. The Successful Applicant You should have a Degree in Procurement or Supply Chain and have significant years of related working experience in the Food & Beverage/Consumer Products Industry from a Procurement/Purchasing (additional exposure to food manufacturing would be beneficial) background. It is essential that you can demonstrate your ability to be strong in negotiation and supplier management experience. You must possess very strong influencing skills to be able to deliver value and advice to clients and stakeholders; You also must have analytical skills and data interpretation in order to use these metrics to discover areas of business improvement and drive performance.
