Job Description : PROCUREMENT HEAD NIGERIA 10-15 years experience A leading conglomerate with diversified business mainly into consumer goods is looking to hire a Head of Procurement & Quality Control. Your Role: - Manage and supervise comprehensive buying function and oversee the daily activities including major purchases of the business unit. - To negotiate the commercial with principals and suppliers to maintain competitive terms while establishing optimum inventory levels. - Analyze and apply the correct sourcing strategies for each commodity within a sourcing category. - Ensure products are obtained at the best possible terms such as price, quality, delivery schedule and payment terms. Establish the performance plans for direct subordinates. Must Have: - Bachelors/PG Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or equivalent. 10+ years of proven experience in managing supply chain operations. - Proficient in supply chain management software and tools. In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoice and negotiation terms. - Excellent MS Office skills. Proven Management and Leadership skills. Highly organized, time management, detail oriented and ability to multi-task & prioritize.
