Corporate Human Resources Head
15 yearsJob Description : HEAD CORPORATE HR NIGERIA Second in line to CHRO 15-20 years experience Study the corporate HR strategy & policies, identify and raise concerns specific to Business/ plants and align the strategy with Business needs in line with the discussion with CHRO. 2. Communicate policies to Plant HRs across Business for further implementation & monitor adherence to the same 1. Maintain documentation of organization charts for all functions and plants & Business 2. Carry out annual manpower planning & administrative budgeting for the Business, provide the same as input to corporate for Group level annual manpower budgeting & basis approved budget, prepare a recruitment plan 3. Accountable for recruitment of employees at plant function heads & below level as per corporate guidelines and ensure on-time availability of manpower in accordance with business/ function requirements 4. Conduct induction program, review the performance of new recruits and provide feedback and suggestions to CHRO 5. Assimilate sense of business in terms of business performance, talent requirement, culture & employee satisfaction to advise Talent Acquisition team on the employer branding initiatives required 1. Ensure implementation of all corporate initiatives across plants and business including organization restructuring, employee engagement, PMS, R&R, skill gap analysis, etc 2. Design & advise on action planning workshops for employee engagement by consulting CHRO 3. Collect feedback on the efficacy of the PMS system, compensation and benefits; suggest corporate for improvements; implement revised PMS in Business & monitor C&B effectiveness to meet employees aspirations 4. Initiate compensation & benefits feedback collection from plants across BU and advise corporate with a strategy designed to meet employees aspirations 5. Identify high potential employees & provide inputs to CHRO for their succession planning 6. Conduct awareness workshops for mid review and yearly appraisal and ensure timely completion of review sessions and provide review reports to CHRO. 1. Liaise with Plant and Business HR & ensuring optimum usage of HRMS and its functionalities and monitor updates of HR activities in the system on regular basis 2. Provide weekly/ monthly/ annual reports, MIS and analysis to Corporate HR on HR activities in the Business, key initiatives/ challenges, etc 1. Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations across all plants 2. Gather feedback on the prevailing IR environment at plants and advise corporate and BU with actions 3. Ensure implementation of grievance redressal system across plants & address escalated disciplinary cases MBA or equivalent degree from a reputed institute • Years/type of experience: 12+ years of experience across HR verticals preferably in manufacturing industry. Preferably worked as Business Head HR for minimum 3 years. Desired Candidate Profile
