Job Description : MECHANICAL ENGINEER NIGERIA · Looking after all maintenance activities of Mechanical Rotary & Static equipment related to Gas Turbine, Utilities & Offsite block of Petrochemical plant along with new projects. · Expertise in Preventive & predictive maintenance schedule to meet the challenging organizational goals & objectives; executing quality systems & processes that enable the organization to consistently meet & enhance high-quality output in the Gas Turbine section, Utilities & Offsite Block of Petrochemical plant. Prepare short-term and long-term process/ MTCE jobs, action plan in consultation with the process, MTCE teams for effective implementation. · Administering all mechanical engineering activities and controlling maintenance activities to ensure that the work is adequately prioritized, planned, and executed to meet the company targets. · Preparation of CAPEX, Project Budgeting, Planning, Scheduling, Implementing, reviewing & executing all planned activities like Preventive Maintenance, Planned Shutdown Maintenance, and Condition-based maintenance, carrying out optimization studies to reduce the cost of maintenance. · Executing plans & shutdown jobs with a focus on optimum utilization of manpower and materials, Proficient in commissioning & maintenance of machinery & equipment, implementing process enhancement and quality control techniques. · implementing cost-saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve a substantial reduction in expenditures and work within the budget. · Representation of department at senior level meetings, attending Management Review meeting, Departmental meeting, Plant Performance meeting, Safety meeting, Energy conservation · Evaluate benefits of MOCs, & Minor Modifications, Scope of Work Preparation, Tender Evaluation, Bid Finalization, Revamping of Static equipments & commissioning in Rotary machinery, PSUSR, Implementing safe work act, environment to achieve a goal, Managing stock items including the creation of new materials and the identification and replacement of obsolete items. · Executing preventive & breakdown maintenance schedules of plant for improving the reliability & safety Conducting failure investigation analysis to identify gaps and taking corrective measures so as to reduce equipment downtime & maximize plant availability, · Allocating equipment, managing breakdown, scheduling & planning of maintenance, and coordinating with other service departments also. Desired Candidate Profile · 10-12 years of work experience in preventive maintenance in a Chemical, Petrochemical, or petroleum production or refining facility · Familiarity with all aspects of rotating and reciprocating equipment and vessel and piping systems common in Chemical plants. · Knowledge in Industrial Safety Standards and Engineering Regulations (API, ASME, etc) · Working knowledge on rotating equipment such as pumps (centrifugal, positive displacement, screw, metering, and multi-stage), centrifugal, axial, and reciprocating compressors, fans, and blowers required · Knowledge in Fire and Gas detection system, weighing systems, communication systems
