Job Description : Head Financial Control – Mining Projects JOHANESSBURG SOUTH AFRICA Leading South African diversified mining and minerals concern, with a sterling reputation for performance excellence are looking to appoint an astute Head of Financial Control / Senior Financial Controller to their team. In this role, be instrumental in in providing financial and project management direction and support at Corporate level and provide project administration, cost controls and accounts management to support investments in Group projects; including responsibility to the Project leaders for project accounting, costing and administration on specified projects. CA (SA) pref. B.Com Hons) degree / CIMA must with a min. of 10 years’ experience in project accounting in respects of full life cycle including pre-feasibility & feasibility studies, implementation of projects more than R5 Billion, post investment reviews; management of Work In Progress (WIP), management of project spend, cash flow management and budgets; general project governance and financial and management reporting of projects. Mining / related industry experience very preferable.
