Regional Sales Manager

Job Description : RSM SINGAPORE FOR FOOD MACHINERY a European machinery solutions company with a specific focus on the food segment. They have a strong reputation + branding in the industry and an established regional branch office in Singapore. Now looking to regionally introduce a new product, they want to hire a Regional Sales Manager at their Singapore office. Summary: Conducting all regional sales activities of the company including sales planning and strategy, opportunity evaluation as well as offshore marketing, pricing, and sales promotion. Coordinates company’s new regional business development opportunities in APAC within the food machinery industry. Key Job Requirements: Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand equipment requirements. Provides product or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests. Establishes new accounts by identifying potential customers; planning and organizing sales call schedule. Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating operations improvements. Submits offers conferring with technical support staff; Advising customer on new product or equipment Prepares sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Contributes to sales effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed Qualifications: Possesses an Engineering background in their education. Prior experience in the machinery solutions industry locally OR regionally. Good understanding of network within the food machinery industry. Able to travel regionally.
