Senior Estimation Engineer

Job Description : SENIOR ESTIMATION ENGINEER QATAR Technical review of enquiries / Request for Quote (RFQ) / Tenders received via e-mail or by verbal -Evaluate Technical feasibility of RFQ with reference to available workshop resource -Prepare the estimation and quotation against RFQ. -Instruct the AutoCAD draftsman to prepare RFQ / tender drawings if required. -Advise the production team on estimate consideration and critical technical issues in case of award of job. -Review of tender documents related drawing to fabrication works and provide cost inputs to Line Manager as required. -Assist Workshop Engineer in case production plan is specific to tender/estimate methodology. -Technical advice / Review of Design/drawings as required. -During the absence of Workshop Engineer, responsible to monitor daily workshop activities / progress. -Ensure weekly enquiry register is prepared and quotations are submitted as per deadline date. -Attend monthly progress review meeting / HSE audit, Quality Audit as per ISO / OSHAS requirements. -Reports to Line Manager (Fabrication). Qualification Experiences & Skills: -B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with minimum Eight years experience in a workshop Oil & Gas, Refining or Petrochemical industry including of at least 3 years supervisions experience. Preferably with exposure to general Electrical/Instrument knowledge. -Computer Literate and use of a computerized maintenance management system -Good Communication skills, speak and write fluent in English.
