Job Description : COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR GURGAON FOR CONSUMER DURABLES 15-20 years experience a 100 year old consumer durables organisation with an international footprint across the world. They are the leaders in most categories in white goods. They are hoping to strengthen their base further in the Indian market and are looking for a Commercial Director for India who would be overseeing the business and growth strategies in this market. Job Description The required candidate would be reporting into the VP Sales for APAC and would be responsible for the following: • Developing the business strategy for India and establishing a strong, on-ground presence for the organisation • Leading and delivering India business strategy within overall business area and global organisational strategy • Facilitating revenue growth and growth of bottom line profitability • Hiring the best people in the team with commercial acumen and talent • Putting in place operating and management systems, ways of working and processes where necessary to enable and improve efficiency and productivity • Planning and building towards a robust revenue through wise P&l management strategies • Providing hands on leadership to sales and operations teams, management of key customer relationships • Ensuring that the business operates in a way that is compliant aligns with overall organisation's purpose, policies and procedures and statutory and / or regulatory requirements The Successful Applicant The successful candidate should have: o 15 to 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and GTM in the Consumer Durables/Electronics industry o A demonstrated experience of leading teams, expanding business, and achieving ambitious results for pan India operations o Excellent new business development orientation coupled with the capabilities to cultivate current relationships for business o Good know how of related market operations including competitive landscape, consumer behaviour, and potential clients • Excellent communication skills and negotiation abilities along with multi-cultural leadership experience
