10 yearsJob Description : REGIONAL SALES AND BD DIRECTOR MENA · Inspire, lead and develop our dedicated Sales & Business Development team to meet their potential and succeed · Take full responsibility for the sales & business development budget. This includes to participate in contract reviews, overlook and elaborate on business plans and article calculations · Initiate market analysis linked to customers and competitors for strategic development · Act as a sparring partner for the local/regional/corporate Management in all kind of sales related decisions · Develop sales channels and expand to other regions and markets · Determine annual gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies · Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs together with your team. Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs · Analyse current and upcoming market trends and results including supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors · Expand the export market, generate new clients and develop new sales opportunities within MENA · Establish sales objectives through forecasting and developing annual sales quotas · Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products · Look after the sales volume, product details, and selling price · Be the subject matter expert by maintaining professional and technical knowledge through relevant workshops, industry publications, and networking · Full commercial acumen in areas of business development, market development, new customer acquisition, contract negotiation, and customer service · Provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients · Lead the strategy - maintain current business, provide sustainable sales growth, and meet profitability targets · Develop, execute and analyse the annual business plan for the department in relation to the business needs and status · Complete understanding of full sales and product cycle and value cost from raw materials, production, manpower, logistics, to delivery KEY INGREDIENTS · Completed technical or commercial education (university level or similar) · At least 10 years' experience within Sales & Business Development in FMCG and Pharmaceutical industries · Enthusiasm for a demanding industrial product and technical understanding · Strong leader with experience in leading, building, and developing a motivated team · Excellent relationship building skills and communication skills in English · Profound problem-solving skills as well as a high grade of flexibility and hands-on mentality · Willingness to travel (up to 60%) and to work in different cultural settings · Profound knowledge of products and technologies used in the FMCG and Packaging industry · Language skills: Fluent in English · Ability to manage a team and work independently towards a common goal · Strong mentoring skills · Proven success in handling western brands and global key accounts · Willingness to travel regularly within the Middle East and Africa region.
