Location: Dubai, UAE Job Overview: The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, driving strategic financial planning, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Requirements: Must have degree in Finance and Accounting and Chartered Accountant preferred Must have Big 4 experience. Must have 10+ years of relevant work experience Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar financial leadership role within the oil and gas industry. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and industry-specific financial practices Support the Preparation and compilation of monthly financial statements and financial forecasts with report variances in a timely manner. Manage the quarterly VAT submissions to the FTA. Design effective budget models for departments and the entire company. Analysing financial information (e.g. revenues, expenditures and cash management) to ensure all operations are within budget. Submit budget reports to the higher management of the organization for further scrutiny and approval in accordance with the approved policy. Responsible for analysing financial data and creating financial models to support decision makers. Prepare business plan for five years and making the necessary update of the plan according to any material changes in the business or the regulations which may affect forecasts. Evaluate M&A opportunities in terms of risk return analysis as required. Develop financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and identification of opportunities. Assist CFO in short term and long-term loan financing arrangements. Liaise with internal and external auditors to manage annual and interim audit processes.
