Cluster Chief Financial Officer

CLUSTER CFO GHANA Provide all financial support to the Group businesses within the cluster Ghana in delivering the strategic business objectives. The role is intended to provide financial insight in the execution of the Business Plan and to support the operating companies in all Finance related matters. You will take overall responsibility for Finance for all countries within the West African region and for the retail channel regarding all the brands across all markets. Besides Finance, also in charge of the IT and Payroll functions in the Ghana Cluster. The Cluster Finance Manager is a key member of the Finance leadership team reporting directly to the MD with an indirect reporting line to the Group CFO in Europe. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Planning & Control Ensures financial statements are accurate and reliable for all entities in the cluster. To monitor actual expenditure against budget forecasts on a monthly basis and identify any areas of potential overspending and take corrective action as soon as possible. Proactively manage the value chain in the cluster. Perform quarterly updates of Trade margins and advise the business on how to maximize the company margin. Payment (credit) management for distributors, to ensure high customer service levels at acceptable levels of risk in order to achieve volume and revenue targets. Provide assistance with managing the Group’s treasury requirements, including cash flow forecasting. Oversees and enforces the Group’s Delegated authority structure. Responsible for the financial aspects of business case development using appropriate investment appraisal methods eg. discounted cash flow and NPV. Leadership Provide leadership and mentoring to other members of the finance team, helping them to grow and deliver to the best of their abilities.
