This is a leadership role overseeing end-to-end business operations including production, supply chain, finance, HR, compliance, and sales with complete P&L responsibility. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight, hands-on operational expertise, and proven experience leading teams in African markets. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Business Growth · Define and implement country-level strategy aligned with global objectives · Drive local sourcing, product diversification, and market expansion · Represent the company with regulatory bodies and government stakeholders Plant & Operations Management · Oversee plant activities: production, quality, and EHS standards · Manage supply chain, procurement, and logistics · Implement cost optimization and lean manufacturing practices Financial Oversight · Own full P&L for Senegal operations · Develop budgets, monitor CAPEX, and track financial KPIs · Ensure cost efficiency and timely financial reporting Team Leadership & Governance · Build and lead cross-functional teams · Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and performance · Ensure adherence to corporate governance and ethical policies Compliance & Local Regulations · Ensure statutory compliance (tax, labor, EHS, environmental norms) · Collaborate with local consultants and legal advisors Candidate Requirements: Education: Bachelor's in Engineering / Business / Operations; MBA preferred Experience: · 12+ years overall with minimum 4–5 years in a leadership role in Africa · Background in metals or components or heavy manufacturing industries Skills: · Strong business and financial acumen · Experience in handling plant operations and P&L in African context · Cross-cultural leadership and stakeholder management · Fluency in English (French language proficiency is a major plus) What’s on Offer: · High-impact leadership role with full autonomy · Opportunity to scale and transform a key international business unit · Work with a value-driven organization committed to sustainability and innovation Note: Africa experience is mandatory — please do not apply without prior leadership exposure in African markets.
