Reporting to the President, this role is at the SVP level and has a number of key Functional areas of responsibility: Leadership and Development of their team; O&M Budget Management, Financial Management and Risk Assessment; Stakeholder Management including Customers, Regulatory Bodies, Local Communities and the Company Board; Asset Management and Plant Performance KPI’s; Health, Safety, Environmental and Labor law standards/KPI’s. In summary, the fleet comprises a mix of technologies - Solar, Wind, BESS etc. that need to be effectively managed so that Company Financial, Operational Performance & Reliability, Commercial Contracts and Regulatory and OHSE standards etc. are met. Specifically, the role will: · Oversee the daily operations of all Philippine plants under operations (across all technologies), and ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with the Company goals and objectives. · Provide leadership and direction in managing the Fleet, covering performance monitoring, operations, engineering, finance and human resources teams · Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness across all departments. · Develop and manage the annual operating budget and ensure that financial targets are met. · Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and government agencies. · Ensure that the company complies with all relevant regulations and standards, including health and safety, environmental, and labor laws. · Manage risk and ensure that appropriate measures are in place to mitigate potential losses. · Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth and expansion. · Prepare regular reports on the company's performance and provide strategic advice to the CEO and Board of Directors To succeed in this role, we seek specific skills and experience including: · 20+ years of experience in operations management in the energy industry · Proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of large-scale power Assets. · Specific experience in Solar and Wind technologies is essential with experience in BESS well regarded. · Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others. · Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders, including regulators, local stakeholders, and boards, with experience working in South-East Asia · Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strong focus on results · Experience with budgeting, financial management, and risk assessment · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
