SUPPLY CHAIN HEAD NIGERIA FOR FMCG/BEVERAGES 15-20 years experience Nigerian experience mandatory - To manage the End to End Supply Chain of the business from raw materials to production and distribution of the finished goods. - The role will involve making sure that the availability of materials and equipment for the company operations is done in a cost-effective manner, ensuring that all the plants operate effectively, within the budget guidelines. Duties & Responsibilities: - Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials and other essential inputs in order to meet the yearly production targets. - Ensure that overall costs of the SC function are maintained within the approved annual budget. - Ensure the implementation of effective strategies to maximize all input yields and production efficiencies for all the bottling lines country wide. - Ensure adequate policies, procedures and controls are in place to verify the integrity and accuracy of all stock levels. - Co-ordinate the export and import processes and formalities of all materials. - Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure the timely clearance of imports (raw materials and machinery). - Liaise with company's transport officer to ensure the prompt and safe delivery of raw materials to the plants. - Monitor levels/quantities of critical materials (i.e. concentrate, sugar, diesel, glass, crates and other materials) and ensure their timely procurement and availability at all plants. - Coordinate with the purchasing manager to ensure suppliers' compliance with agreed upon purchases. - Set appropriate benchmark for inventory levels in order to reduce the day's sale inventory. Ensure disposal of scrap material in line with the company's policy. - Build an effective team based environment and motivate employees to optimize their performance by applying PMP. - Comply with company's set values and standards. - Other tasks as required by the job and/or management. Job Requirements: - A degree in Supply Chain Management.
