Technical Leadership -Review and suggest CM strategies (scope and frequency) for rotating machinery based on their type, OEM recommendations, failure modes, RCM evaluation, history and equipment performance. -Propose and implement the use of improved CM systems and techniques, and providing expert advice and support to the sites on the capabilities of condition assessment systems and techniques. -Monitor the condition monitoring program of various sites for their effectiveness and suggest improvements. -Provide periodic reports to top management on health status of critical rotating machinery. -Carry out obsolescence plan of CM systems and advice sites on upgrading program. Strategy and Planning Support Team Lead to develop & manage the rotating equipment annual & five-year work plans with specific deliverables for Condition Monitoring. Technical Support and Engagement -Work with Regional Asset Support (RAS) team by providing technical support & consultation to resolve chronic failures/issues at sites globally. Carry out detailed analysis of condition-based data. Monitor and analyze vibration data, oil analysis, wear particle reports, performance monitoring, thermography and other predictive maintenance technique outputs to aid site condition monitoring leads in equipment trouble shooting and root cause failure analysis. -Liaise withAsset Life Management (ALM) & Electrical & Automation (EA) departments to provide equipment strategies and technical solutions. -Liaise with Asset Technology Development (ATD) to develop & sustain global agreements between SABIC and major rotating equipment suppliers. -Work with ATD team to support 2025 strategies through pool of global rotating equipment experts. -Support SABIC manufacturing in technical audits/assessments/cold eye reviews and remaining life assessment initiatives. -Participate in failure analysis of actual/potential incidents with C1/C2 classifications. -Provide expert knowledge on safety and reliability related programs applicable to SABIC SHEMS and OMS. -Support site/mega projects by endorsing CM systems of critical machines through engineering reviews, clarifications of deviations from standards. Knowledge and Network Management -Communicate critical business cases in the from of Technical Alerts (TA) to Global Manufacturing. -Participate in internal and external rotating equipment technical networks, forums, conferences and committees. -Manage the Condition Monitoring Expert Group ensuring adherence to Operating Rhythm Charter for Networking and Knowledge sharing. Competency Development, Mentoring and Coaching -Develop and delivery of specialized, quality training to SABIC manufacturing engineers globally. -Develop, maintain and retain top-quality rotating equipment expertise by effective training, mentoring and coaching. Comprehend and apply legal guidelines in the rotating equipment department.
