Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles, with a focus on organizational development and transformation. Proven track record of building HR departments from inception and implementing effective policies and procedures. Extensive experience in the construction industry, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics and challenges. Strong knowledge of East African labour laws and regulations, particularly in Tanzania, and experience managing multinational workforces. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives. Demonstrated experience in managing change and driving organizational culture initiatives. Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
