Reporting to the Group CFO, the Head of Finance will be responsible for: · Responsible for financial management and financial reporting of the organisation's overseas businesses located in Qatar, UAE, and Oman · Formulating and implement strategies to facilitate funds management with various stakeholders · Handling and monitoring the cash flow planning and fund management process at every stage of the project (from bidding to execution till completion) · Reviewing reports submitted by the team and subsequently analyse results and provide recommendations to the Divisional Head · Implementing a reporting mechanism to gauge the financial health of Business Units and Divisions. Subsequently, attend Division meetings periodically and highlight any concerns · Assisting various divisions with the formulation of the annual budget and ensure that it is prepared in an accurate and timely manner · Ensuring that all financial statements are reported and recorded accurately by the team in compliance with IFRS standards · Gauging the effectiveness of existing operations and internal controls. Subsequently, provide recommendations for improvement · Formulating best practices to streamline business activities and foster a continuous development environment · A Bachelors/Masters Degree with a professional qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA) · Minimum 15 years of experience of which at least 7-10 years in a managerial role · B2B industry experience (preferably industrial, engineering, or manufacturing groups) · Big four experience for at least 2-3 years · Must be willing to travel to Qatar, UAE, and Oman · Strong leadership skill with the ability to manage over 15 senior professionals
