HEAD POWER PLANT NIGERIA Plant Operations To monitor progress as per the production schedule to ensure smooth functioning of the unit. To formulate the short term (weekly plan), medium term (Quarterly Plan) and long term (annual business plans) by integrating organizational plans with functional/ departmental plans. Experience in handling assembling process and ability to visualize and trouble shoot process related problems. To study and maintain all parameters of boiler, turbine and other auxiliaries for efficient results Ensure predictive & preventive maintenance / troubleshooting for various equipment such as power transformer, Generator & AVR System, HT/LT switch gear, DG Set, Battery & DC System, HT/LT motors, Switch yard & relay panels etc. to increase machine up time & equipment reliability Responsible for daily production meeting and communicate production status and flag critical Issues that need additional support. Responsible for management, co-ordination, execution of operation & maintenance of electrical equipment & electrical distribution network. Target Production Review work progress of the department at regular intervals including meetings with sub-contractors and engineers to ensure smooth process as per plan. Plan, organize, execute generation of power as per target abiding all norms. Effectively allocating the resources optimizing the available time for enhancing profitability. Team Management Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes high performance continuous improvement, key employee retention and development. P& L Understanding Knowledge of P&L statements, budget preparation, budget Vs actual analysis etc. Health and Safety Overall responsibility for running the plant with particular focus on Health & Safety and also ensures that regulations regarding Labor law, environmental issues are met all times.
