KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Responsible for the entire sales life cycle activity within the FMCG sector · Develop sales channels and expand to other regions and markets · Perform both sales and marketing activities to increase the company's overall market share in the region · Determine annual gross profit plans by implementing marketing strategies · Analyse current and upcoming market trends and results including supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors · Establish sales objectives through forecasting and developing annual sales quotas · Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products · Look after the sales volume, product details and selling price · Be the subject matter expert by maintaining professional and technical knowledge through relevant workshops, industry publications, and networking · Full commercial acumen in areas of business development, market development, new customer acquisition, contract negotiation, and customer service · Provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients · Ability to influence or lead a team to meet or exceed their individual/group potential · Management of the sales team under the packaging department · Develop, execute and analise the annual business plan for the department in relation to the business needs and status · Work closely with the Regional Managing Director · Ability to understand and create business cases · Complete understanding of full sales and product cycle and value cost from raw materials, production, manpower, logistics, to delivery. KEY INGREDIENTS · Engineering or Business related Degree, Masters Degree is a plus · Profound knowledge of products and technologies used in the packaging industry · Existing market and network within FMCG · Language skills: Fluent in English and Arabic · Goal-oriented and independent method of working · Powerful communication, presentation and negotiation skills · Ability to manage a team and work independently towards a common goal · Strong mentoring skills · Proven success in handling western brands and global key accounts · Willingness to travel regularly within the Middle East and Africa region.
