About the role: The purpose of this position is to ensure that the business will be carried out in a tax efficient way and in accordance with International Tax Regulations Responsibilities: · Managing company tax exposure and risks. · Compliance with tax laws and minimisation of fines for non-compliance · Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax projects. · Responsible to legally minimise tax liabilities through informed application of tax laws and regulations in all the territories · Prepare and review tax calculations, estimates and reports accruals partnering with country, finance, and operations teams. · Manage tax compliance, reporting, and filing works for the Group. · Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate tax, VAT and withholding tax returns · Establish appropriate system or processes for tax risk management for the Group · Manage external tax authorities and consultants locally and regionally · Calculate current and deferred tax provision · Assist in forecasting tax expense for the group’s budget process · Provide internal tax advisory services and support on business operation matters to the Group · Update annual transfer pricing documentation for the Group and ensure inter-company transactions are adequately documented · Advise on the tax deductibility of the Group’s expenditures and track the deductions of capital transactions of property and equipment · Qualified CA or CPA · Minimum 15 year's experience in International Taxation · Strong Knowledge of International taxation law and regulations with Tax exposure in Africa is advantageous. · Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. · Possess good business acumen and highly adaptive.
