As a Vice President, your role will be multifaceted. You'll provide real-time advisory services to the Origination & Advisory coverage business, identifying regulatory trends that could impact these areas. Your expertise will be crucial in advising business areas on firm policies, procedures, and applicable securities laws. You'll also assist in implementing supervisory/control mechanisms, participate in internal investigations, respond to regulatory inquiries, and coordinate audits. Your ability to provide legal, regulatory or compliance advice in connection with investment banking advisory engagements is essential. You possess functional knowledge of FINRA, SEC, broker dealer regulations among others. Your strong communication skills enable you to effectively influence others and engage senior stakeholders. Above all else, your ability to project confidence and professionalism when dealing with senior business personnel sets you apart. · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; JD or MBA a plus · Relevant experience of securities, preferably in a global investment bank or law firm · Experience in providing legal, regulatory or compliance advice in connection with investment banking advisory engagements and transactions · Functional knowledge of FINRA, SEC, broker dealer regulations and other relevant bank regulations · Strong written and verbal communication skills · Ability to project confidence and professionalism in dealings with senior business personnel
