Accounting and Administration Manager

ACCOUNTANT CUM ADMIN MANAGER DRC We are an offset printing company based in DR Congo, Africa - We are looking for a young mature, responsible, motivated, enthusiastic, honest, energetic accountant for our new branch. Your responsibility will be to work alongside the General Manager and assist in the administation side of things. You must have good computer knowledge, in particular excel, work, internet and email. Please read all conditions below before applying for the job. We are looking for an active young individual who is willing to move to DR Congo in Africa for a minimum 2 year contract, but with a long term view. You must be very proactive, enthusiastic, motivated, willing to learn, take initiative and will be willing to move up the ladder in the company. This position is for an Immediate start. You will be required to have a minimum of 5 years experience as an accountant. Congo is a french speaking country, hence english language knowledge is a must, both written and spoken. Roles and Responsibilities 1. Managing the daily accounting and admin operations of the company such as petty cash management, negotiating with supplier, employees, customers etc. 2. Looking after importation of goods. 3. Managing Staff, Government Problems, Purchasing department, Housekeeping and General Maintenance. 4. Dealing with local staff, and local accountant. 5. Tally and accounting knowledge is a must. 6. Business acumen is required. 7. Prepare Cash book, Budgets, Profit and loss, balance sheet statements, cash flow statements 8. Dealing with government personnel. 9. Knowledge of Tally software and accounting in a must. 10. Collections of debts from customers. 11. Monitoring vehicle movements and scrutinizing expenses. 12. Organising deliveries of finished goods. Desired Candidate Profile 1. Languages: (English a must) 2. Work Experience: Atleast 10 years as an accountant in reputed hospitality industry. 3. Educational Qualifications: Graduate/Post Grad, accounting knowledge is a must. 4. It would be preferable if the candidate has exposure outside india. Salary & Accomodation 1.
