Role Summary · Define and execute annual go-to-market strategies and roadmaps; optimal product positioning; and pricing strategies for growing the Middle East dry food distribution network and own the regions P&L for product distribution. · Manage distribution, sales and P&L accountability by working closely with distribution partners and their salesforce to grow the brand and market share. · Lead planning and review meetings and promotional activities to optimize sales productivity. · Build a high-performance sales organization to increase rice export revenue within the Middle East retailers and distributors market. · Establish compensation, sales incentive and training programs that enable sales managers to achieve their targets. Mandatory Skills & Experience · 10 - 15 years’ experience in a senior sales role such as VP of sales / head of sales / sales director position in the GCC having worked with international FMCG or food brands with a proven track record of success in FMCG distribution and route-to-market strategies. · Must have extensive experience of increasing revenue in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Levant region. · Demonstrable sales team leadership – recruitment, development and performance management of a highly accountability-driven team. · Distributor network growth and management preferably in the dry pulses, spices, grains, Agri-commodities sector. · Strong consultative channel selling capabilities with excellent interpersonal and negation skills at executive level. · Previous experience in dry food distribution / export in dry bulk shipments is an advantage. · UAE / GCC driving license is mandatory.
