DIVISION CFO UAE services business that is private equity backed, based in Dubai. We are seeking a Divisional Finance Director. Salary for this position would be 50,000-60,000 Dirhams per month. This would include everything including housing, + a bonus on top of up to 30% of the annual salary. This postion works for an International Group, that has the HQ based in the UK. This role would look after 6 sites and indeed be the Regional FD, working for the Regional MD for the Middle East Region, which includes Bharain and Qatar and the CFO for EMEA. The role is based in Dubai in fantastic offices and a close knit team of 25-30. This is a role that will be based mostly in the office after the Pandemic, but currently is a mix of remote and in the office. The role is a great mix of being a true business partner to the MD and looking at new initiatives, forward planning, investment appraisals, whilst keeping the internal clients adhering to certain budgets. This role really gets behind the numbers, looks at trends and manages a sizeable finance team. There is an FC, FP&A Manager and several Finance Managers in each of the sites. All are qualified and are strong. The role involves the following responsibilities: Point of contact for the Big 4 auditors Cashflow forecasting and producing the MI pack for the Region Statutory accounts production and Taxation requirements Responsible for Treasury in the region, but the group handles more complex hedging and funding requirements Integration of M&A targets Budgeting and forecasting. Excel modelling on investment scenarios and long range plans Being able to handle multiple internal stakeholders and judge how to influence certain scenarios. This is a great role, with strong progression path, working with some strong people. The ideal candidate will be An FD from an International Group that has worked for a UK/US business before, who has spent time in the Middle East Qualified ACA/CA/CPA/CIMA Strong technically, but also business partnering experience, specifically around cost management Tax experience Leadership experience The maximum notice period considered would be 3 months, but ideally the candidate could start sooner.
