Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager Location: Kinshasha, DRC Reports to: Head Sales & Marketing & Regional Manager Purpose Business Development Manager shall report directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing supported by the Regional Manager. Responsbilities 1. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and target industries. Proactively seek out new business opportunities through various channels. 2. Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to attract and convert prospects into qualified leads. Work closely with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing initiatives. 3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs, address concerns, and provide excellent customer service to foster long-term partnerships. 4. Lead contract negotiations and close deals with clients to achieve revenue targets. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts are favourable and in line with company policies. 5. Develop and execute business development strategies to penetrate new markets and expand our presence in existing markets. Analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions. 6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to ensure seamless execution of business development plans and strategies. 7. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to the senior management team. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve sales strategies and processes. 8. Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies to anticipate opportunities and challenges in the market. Requirement 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. 2. Proven track record of successful business development and sales experience, preferably in a similar industry. 3. Strong understanding of sales principles, lead generation, and customer relationship management. 4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade clients effectively. 5. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills. 6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, create reports, and make data-driven decisions. 7. Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and sales activities

The Security Manager shall also ensure that the Client and CPP's security requirements are understood and implemented by all employees, subcontractors and their staff. Be responsible for reviewing the qualifications of the security service providers. 6. The Security Manager shall gather all the information relevant for security and prepare the situational reporting to be shared with the management and operational teams. 7. Chair a recorded weekly security meeting with the Security Leads for the sharing of information, progress on corrective actions and any other security related tasks. 8. Liaise and communicate with the Security Leads to provide them with ongoing support. 9. Assist in the coordination of Emergency Response, Country Evacuation Response and Country Crisis Response functions. 10. Regularly review compliance of the contracted security service providers. Raise awareness on non-compliance matters and issue corrective actions requests as necessary and ensure rectification measures are timeously implemented. Coordinate the security efforts across all CPP locations, ensuring that lessons leamt, and corrective actions are shared at each facility.
