General Manager - Finance Location: TANZANIA Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Management Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic General Manager (GM) - Finance to join our organization. The GM - Finance will be responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations, including banking relationships, fundraising, balance sheet finalization, taxation, and credit rating. This role will work closely with the CFO and senior management to provide strategic financial leadership and ensure the company's financial health and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Banking & Financial Relationships: Manage and strengthen banking relationships, ensuring the company has access to necessary financial services and favorable terms. Provide insights and reports on financial performance to the CFO and Management. Taxation: Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, overseeing direct and indirect tax matters. Manage tax planning, preparation, and filings, ensuring optimal tax efficiency for the company. Credit Rating Management: Lead the company’s efforts to maintain or improve its credit rating by managing relationships with rating agencies and responding to their requirements. Develop strategies to improve the company’s financial profile in the eyes of rating agencies. Strategic Financial Leadership: Work closely with the CFO and senior management in strategic financial decision-making, risk management, and long-term financial planning. Provide regular financial reporting, including forecasting, budgeting, and analysis of financial performance. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and accounting standards in India and international markets. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to regulatory bodies. Education: CA. Experience: Minimum of 15 years Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and mentor a finance team. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior leadership, investors, and external stakeholders. Compensation: 4500USD + BENEFITS
