Reporting and Analysis • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with both corporate (IFRS/US GAAP) and local regulatory requirements. • Budgeting Support: Collaborate with the Finance Director to assist operational teams in preparing budgets and forecasts, and track performance against these established financial plans. • Fixed Assets: Oversee the management of the fixed assets register, ensuring proper capitalization, depreciation calculation, and physical verification. Treasury and Risk Management • Cash Flow: Monitor and control. • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential financial and operational risks and implement appropriate control measures to mitigate them. Required Skills and Qualifications • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or audit, with at least 2 years in a control or management capacity. Experience within the building materials, mining, logistics, or related sector is a plus. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • Professional Certification: Internationally recognized qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is highly desirable. • Language: Professional working proficiency or fluency in French is mandatory due to the local business and regulatory environment. • Note Immediate joiners preferred.
